Full-time faculty position as Chair in Public Health in Bangladesh

The Asian University for Women seeks applications for a full-time faculty professorship as Takeda Chair in Public Health, for start in August 2018. Qualifications sought include: Doctoral degree in Public Health or related fields from an internationally recognized university; evidence of continued engagement with the field, teaching and research excellence.

The ideal candidate will possess the following fields of expertise: Public health issues arising out of demographic and disease transition; public health challenges including disease prevention and health promotion, smart organizational and financial re-engineering to support the complex public health needs of the population in developing countries; sexual and reproductive health; occupational health and safety. Ability to develop programs to train leaders to engage with public health problems in the Asian sub-continent.
