Transforming Built Environment to promote physical activity: A WHO Report
The World Health Organization Regional Office for Europe has recently posted a new report (96 pages): Towards more physical activity: Transforming public spaces to promote physical activity — a key contributor to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals in Europe (2017).
It perfectly aligns with the MUSE program of research considerations as our program focuses on built environment transformations in urban cities to improve various health outcomes and promote healthy behaviors, including physical activity.
To know more about how planning cities can boost physical activity, visit the Urban Health section of the WHO Regional office for Europe.
